Event is unquestionably real and major: 18th edition (Mar 10-17 2026, 100+ workshops, 3 live concerts, VIP marathon capped 150+150, T2i World Cup) already ran and is archived on Tangopolix; the official site tangotoistanbul.com is the organizer (IstanbulTANGO School). The 19th-edition dates Mar 9-16 2027 were surfaced consistently by multiple web searches (indexed organizer social snippets), matching the claim, but I could not fetch a static page carrying them — the official site still fronts the 18th edition and Tangocat 2027 does not list it yet. Dates are HIGH-plausibility/medium-confidence; treat 2027-03-09/16 as provisional pending organizer page update. Inventory has zero tanGO TO Istanbul entries and no Istanbul tango event at all (only salsa/bachata congresses + a salsa marathon; the TR 'Oriente Tango Marathon' is a different Sep 2026 event).
